    • 5 out of 5 I've had these shoes for over two years. They have held up great as an almost everyday shoe. They had a lot of use on day hikes, trail runs, car camping and exploration. I love the Gore-Tex keeping my feet dry while it's wet out or crossing streams. They get a little hot and stuffy on real hot days, but I can't fault the shoe since it is obviously not built as a ventilator / hot weather shoe.

    • 5 out of 5 I bought this shoe to wear when I go hiking and traveling. I needed something with a grip on the bottom for rocky and unpredictable terrain. Very happy with this shoe. Definitely a purchase worth making. You can wear this shoe for long distances and not even feel it.

    • 5 out of 5 I've owned these for nearly a year now and can't believe how well they've held up (almost daily wear) and how comfortable & supportive they are. My only complaint is the laces .. much like the other reviewer, I find them too silky and unless you double knot them they come undone easily. Other than that they shoes are great.

    • Great shoes, for more than hiking...

    • 5 out of 5 I bought a pair of these shoes for hiking on vacation in Vermont and absolutely loved them for trail hiking. They are comfortable and waterproof - all around great. I am also a runner, both sidewalk and trail, and when my running shoes were giving me shin splints, I switched to these shoes and I love them! I recently bought another pair of them for running. Although they are not touted as running shoes, I find them extremely comfortable and I can go out in any weather - rain or snow, and they keep my feet dry, but still allow them to breathe. My only complaint is about the shoe laces - they are too slippery and thus come untied easily. However, I double knot them and tuck the ends into the laces over the tounge and I am good to go.

    • 5 out of 5 We backpacked around the world for a year and these shoes lasted the entire trip! On strenuous hikes from Tibet to Patagonia, our feet stayed warm and comfortable. We highly recommend for their durability and support.
