Never had a North Face shoe before but needed more cushion and support. After checking out my husband's pair of shoes, thought it was time to get mine. I hike and trail run in these and they are super cushy-comfy! Was a devoted follower of Salomon running shoes for years but their styles and sizing is inconsistent now-- bummer. Think I found my new kicks....

I am on my second pair of the same shoe. I found them to be very supportive and very flexible for hiking on loose rock to higher elevations when we were in Montana. I normally wear orthodics, but haven't needed to with this shoe. So I just ordered my 2nd pair to be sure I could still get it in case styles changed.
