I love Salomons but these shoes aren't very good running shoes. I am really dispointed.

To be honest, I bought these because I LOVE the way they look (I got the turquoise ones). However these were not great for running. The laces are hard to adjust 'just right' and I got a small blister on my arch (this has never happened in ANY running shoes before and I went on a short (4 mi) run.... They also lacked structure - if you like a little structure to your shoe... these are comfy, but sort of squishy when you run. Bummer.... I guess they will just be for casual/walks.

I bought a pair of these shoes in Color: Celedon/Papaya/B/Pop Green about 4 months ago and just started running at age 57. From day one the shoes felt like a custom fit. I went from not being able to run 1/2 a mile to running 5 miles several days a week without a single injury. There are no seams inside that hurt your foot and the laces are fantastic. They tuck away without worry of them coming undone. I am so impressed with the comfort and stability of these shoes I am purchasing a second pair in Pop Green/Black/Very Purple. I have received tons of compliments on my first pair since there are not a lot of shoes as eye catching as this model. They certainly aren't boring!

Another great shoe from Salomon! I have very high arches and usually have to use an strong carbon fiber orthotic in my Brooks running shoes (for years!). Over the past 12 months, I have been transitioning to all Salomon because to the level of comfort and support of the high arch - works for me! No orthotic! I have the XR Mission this revew is for in the *awesome* celadon/papaya color combo, the XT Wings 2, and the XT Wings GTX for all weather hiking/trails/approach. They run large, you may have to go down a 1/2 size.

Got those shoes after I hurt my knees running on different shoes. Those shoes are great, offer great arch support and stabilize your foot.I am prone to hip and knee injuries if the shoes are not supportive enough. With these shoes, I haven't had a single injury. They are trail running shoes, but I run on them on a regular basis. I run on pavement,beach, grass, track, it holds up really good! If you need a lot of support, I recommend those shoes.

I bought these because I'd heard great things about Salomon's as trail-running shoes. These shoes look great and seem like good hiking shoes, but the arches are too high for running (and I have high arches!). I had half-dollar sized blisters on the arches of both feet following a 4-mile run, and the next run just continued to aggravate the spot. I don't recommend them for running, and I'll stick with my Asics.

These shoes are so light and so comfortable on that i hardly know I am wearing them ...except my feet feel greatly supported and cared for when walking or running

I love the looks of this shoe ... even better than picture. I wore shoes in house for about 15 minutes and the arch started bothering me. My plantar fasciitis was aggravated for days. Some people like a lot of arch support, but it was too much for me.

The sneaker caught my eye because of the beautiful colors. I never saw so many colors I like in a sneaker especially the neon yellow or what some call green, so I bought them. When I received them they didn't look high quality to me. The purple and black in the middle of the shoe feels and looks like vinyl not leather. For the price I don't want vinyl. The shoe laces were a complete pain in the you know what to operate. It took me a but to figure out you have to force them longer, hard to explain without seeing them. But the worse thing was they were completely uncomfortable. The inner sole of the shoe was really narrow so 1/2 my foot was going over the sides. I don't have wide feet so I didn't under stand this at all. Well anyway since they actually hurt my feet when I was finally able to figure out the laces and get my feet in them, only about a 1/2 a minute then I couldn't wait to take them off. Needless to say, they were returned.
