Women's Pearl Izumi Syncrofuel Trail II

With the updated syncroFuel Trail II, Pearl Izumi has basically taken everything good about the syncroFuel XC, and made it slightly better.

I absolutely love the bright colors and style. I receive so many compliments on them. I wear them for everything from spinning to weight training classes. I have had this brand once before so I knew to order a half size up to have them fit properly.

These are cool shoes. Admittedly, I buy trail runners a lot on style and cushioning. These do run between a half to a full size small. I normally wear 10½ or 11, but had to get 11½ in these to work. I am still breaking them in. I have wide feet, and I think after some wearing these will break in comfortably.

I typically wear New Balance or Nike and when I saw these shoes I really wanted them. I was unfamiliar with the brand, but decided to purchase anyway. I normally wear an 8-1/2, but I would suggest going up a size than what you normally wear...they run a little smaller. Also, the width is a little more narrow than New Balance or Nike. Overall, I'm happy with the shoes...I think they are comfortable and cute.

Pearl Izumi really improved these shoes. I liked them before; I love them now. They are very comfortable, lighter, have an integrated tongue, provide the perfect amount of cushioning, and provide good protection from sharp rocks/roots. Overall all these are good shoe for trails and dirt roads. And these shoes even make you feel fast!
