    • 4 out of 5 I wanted a day shoe for street wear as well as something more substantial for weekend hiking with my dog on local trails. The Keen Shasta fit the bill for a more attractive shoe that was functional too. I really like the stitch detailing on the sides of the Shasta - makes the shoe a little more feminine! The sole is awesome in wet conditions - no slipping at all on steep wet asphalt or rocks and leaves! Fit - very true to size! I ordered a 9.5 regular and it is a great fit. But in my opinion, if you want to wear really thick socks with the Shasta, I would order one half size up. The only feature that I would add to the shoe to give it a score of "5" would be more padding on the tongue of the shoe. The current padding isn't bad, but for a hiker, I would like more cushion.
