Best known for its tactical gear, Blackhawk is marching its way straight into the men’s casual footwear line with a new trail shoe called Tanto Light Hiker.
Due out in early 2010, the Tanto Light Hiker was created to transition from indoor to outdoor activities in a snap. Blackhawk said it brought its experience in developing all-day comfort and combat durability footwear and directly applied it to develop a hiking shoe.
Some features of the new shoe include:
- Quick-access bungee lacing system that allows for an easy slip on.
- Washable, anti-microbial OrthoLite footbed with a breathable, quick-drying cushion.
- Waterproof injected insole board.
- Self cleaning, multi-directional lugs and semi-rigid heel and toe cap reinforcement for exceptional comfort and protection.
Available in tan or gray suede, the hiking shoes have a suggested retail price of $99.99. DRFMDRGND9XN
