Men's Wolverine 5" Clearwater Mid-Cut Hiker WP

Hi, I work all day in my profession as a carpenter on a Wildlife Refuge wearing your multishocks 8" work boot. I recently hiked the 33 mile Chilkoot trail out of Skagway ,Alaska and bought your multishock hiking boots for this endeavor. I was very pleased with the fit and felt like I was walking in complete comfort the whole way. I did not have time to break these hikers in and wondered how it would be. To say the least ,I was very pleased.Thanks Wolverine for these! Dave

The gel sole is great - awesome traction. Overall it has a nice fit too. Def exceeded expectations.

I've had these boots for about three years now and have put thousands of miles on them working as a field biologist in the southern US and while working for hunting lodges and going on remote backpacking trips in Alaska. I have beaten the hell out of these things and they keep going. Three years of use with someone as abusive as me is like ten years with someone else so I'm very impressed with them.

I do a lot of walking ,whether it be on undeveloped for future buildings, or just plain hiking,these hiking boots are not only indestructable, and are waterproof,occasionally going through a puddle while walking,are the best that I have purchased in a very long time,which is a good feeling.

I liked the gel sole also, I've always had to buy it extra. I like that it is built in the boot. Also it feels good and has excellent support.

a pretty good boot i am a ups delivery driver and have had these boots for a week now. they have excellent traction and combined with superfeet orange insoles they have excellent shock absorbtion. they are also pretty light weight to. the cons i have with this boot is, and maybe its because i had a pair of asolo 520's for two years and i got used to them, but i think this boot does not have enough cushioning inside the boot and because of that i have had to wair a extra pair of socks. i got med cause i have a narrow foot and the asolos were a better fit for me these boots were a little bit two wide. and with the cons in mind that is why i did not give this boot 5 stars. but still a good boot for the money. i would recommend this boot to a friend just make sure you get the right size and maybe consider wearing some thick socks to make up for the cushioning.
