Leather uppers guarantee that these hiking boots will stand up to whatever nature sends your way. The tongue is made of a breathable mesh allowing air to circulate, keeping feet cool and dry. These hikers will keep you going from daybreak to sunset with the built in shock absorbers provided by the compression molded EVA midsole and a removable sockliner. These boots are available in black or brown and feature the trademarked Timberland BSFP technology specially designed to support your foot through all four major motions; brake, support, flex and propel. About Timberland
- In 1960, Nathan Swartz revolutionized the boot industry with his introduction of the injection-molding technique to the footwear industry, which is essentially an innovative waterproofing technology. Originally named the Abington Shoe Company, the business changed its name to the Timberland Company following the success of the waterproof boot the Timberland. It entered an entirely new market with its tactical line Timberland PRO in 1999. Many have donned Timberland boots on missions and adventures worldwide. Most recently the New Hampshire company added kid's footwear to the mix. There's no question that Timberland boots are durable and ready for action.

This shoe I have bought is excellent. it is as I have imagined, looking at the photo on the website.Comfortable and warm to wear mostly in the snow.No problem of slippery and pain neither in the delivery. It is for cold even in the breezy weather for out purpose. i have recommended three of my friends.

Excellent shoes, I wear to work, go out there, from here to there and have gone very well, this line of timberland is phenomenal, with a traction foot makes you feel with freshness and flexibility, very good boot, very good pair!

So far for the short time I have had them they are a good boot. Would not want them for hot climate hiking, becuase they are a heavy.
