Men's Salomon XR Mission

I couldn't be happier with these! I run 1,000+ miles a year on roads. I was looking for a shoe with all the benefits of a high-end trail running shoe, but with the feel of a road shoe, for when I get to run trails. I definitely found it in the XR Mission. Love them!

Not true to size, about 1/2 size small. Formed blisters on my arches. Do like the lacing system

This shoe is touted as a short to mid distance trail runner. I'm not completely sure why it is described as such since it is not particularly light or nimble and seems incredibly stable. To me it is a bomb proof trail hound for the longer runs and that is how I'm using them. I like the narrow fitting heel cup mounted on a widely based sole for great stability; probably more stable than most shoes with motion control features and just as heavy. I used them in wet conditions one day and was not satisfied with the traction but found them adequate on somewhat sandy trails at Fort Ord near Monterey, CA. Very wide forefoot. I would recommend trying them on before purchasing them as they are somewhat unique.

I have owned several pairs of Solomon shoes. I wanted a lighter shoes for the summer. Salomon has never disappointed. Great running shoe. Good support and lots of cushion. Salomon's quality is very good compared to other brands. The lace system give for a snug fit.

These shoes are pretty awesome! I bought them to use for shorter runs / crossfit type training. After my first session I'm convinced I picked the right shoes. They are light, supportive and feel great on. They run true to size. I couldn't be happier. Highly recommend these shoes.

Tried these new Salomon's. Loved the previous ones I've had. Bought these because of the colors and not disappointed. Super comfortable and light weight. Love the speed lacing also.

This was a great product at a great price. The are very light for trail running with enough padding for the road.
