Men's Salomon Quest 4D GTX

I really like these boots. I wore them to work the past couple of days and the boots are good. My feet stayed warm, in the Michigan winter weather. The only concerns I have are that the left boot is a little tight on the outside of the foot and the boots need to have wide sizes in general. I am planning a thru hike of the AT and was hoping to size up and use the same boots all the way, but I had to size up just to get the right width. I may return these boots and go with a different brand.

Perfect Quest! I love these shoes. I had a 3 day hiking in Colorado & they were the best hiking shoes I ever had. Incredibly light & supportive. I also enjoyed their great comfort & grip!

Great boot! Awesome support for such a light boot. Good grip on wet rocks and downed trees. Flexibility was actually kinda springy under 175 lb body and 50 lb pack. Uphill, downhill jaunts, 13 mile days and I wasn't feeling like I had to take them off at the end of the day! Super comfortable. Waterproof-ness is adequate for light rain and puddle jumping but I had some leakage at the toe lacing during a medium rain shower coupled with some creek crossings. I wouldn't recommend standing in water with these but think they work well otherwise.
