Men's Pearl Izumi Syncrofuel Trail II

I own 3 pairs of Pearl Izumi syncroFuel XC, and the only reason I don't have more is cause I haven't bought them yet. Very comfortable, well-fitting trail shoe with a good balance of protection vs. weight. I wear them for everything from short training runs to 100 mile races and have never had any complaints or anything break or wear out prematurely. I have wide feet, and these fit my feet fine and are true to size. Great shoe.

I've tried nearly every product on the market and have experienced nothing as comfortable, yet rugged as the synchro fuel Trail II. I've taken these in the snow, mud, and over rocky terrain in the Colorado mountains that used to punish my feet in my other shoes. This particular shoe gives me a lot of confidence when in wet weather. They also don't need to be broken in- out of the box they have a nice width.

I use these to run on trails and dirt roads. They work great. They are durable, comfortable and provide adequate cushion and support. The only negative is that the heel area is slightly narrow. This caused blisters on the inside bottom of my heel initially. I changed the insoles with some thicker ones and solved the problem. I will buy them again

These are cool shoes. Admittedly, I buy trail runners a lot on style and cushioning. These do run between a half to a full size small. I normally wear 10½ or 11, but had to get 11½ in these to work. I am still breaking them in. I have wide feet, and I think after some wearing these will break in comfortably.

Pearl Izumi really improved these shoes. I liked them before; I love them now. They are very comfortable, lighter, have an integrated tongue, provide the perfect amount of cushioning, and provide good protection from sharp rocks/roots. Overall all these are a good shoe for trails and dirt roads. And these shoes even make you feel fast!

I've had these shoes for over a year now, and I wear them almost everyday. I wear them to work. I wear them to football practice. I wear them to hike. And, they still look and feel great. I did get them a half size bigger than I usually wear.
