Men's Merrell Ridgeline Mid Ventilator

Felt a bit narrow at first, but getting broken in. Comfortable, nice ankle support. Good shoe!

I bought these boots for vacation this fall. I was looking for a lightweight, waterproof, and breathable boot that fit well with everyday wool socks. These appear to fit the bill. I haven't tested the waterproofness yet but everything else appears to be as advertised. Comfortable right out of the box

Feel great on my feet, big fan of Merrell boots

These boots fit well, and have been very comfortable on hikes in rocky terrain (southern Arizona),without any break-in time. For me, the laces could be longer; I need to bypass one of the upper eyelets to tie them properly, so I'll be looking for longer laces. I particularly like their lightness, yet firm grip, and good ankle support. They probably aren't very water repellent, but I knew this when I bought them, so they'll be for dry weather hiking. So far, I would recommend them for moderate day hiking in mostly dry conditions. I'll switch to my older and heavier waterproof boots when need be. PS: I bought these boots for my husband, who wrote the review. I don't wear size 11.5 clodhoppers.

I've had Merrells for some time and thought I'd try another brand, even though the boot I tried was highly rated it didn't have the feel of the Merrell.....so I went back to look at Merrells, found this boot, put it on and haven't felt the need to wear anything else since. It has good support, an aggressive tread, and looks good enough wear for other than work. I bought the boot a half size larger, have lots of room for thicker socks, and dont feel at all uncomfortable. I would highly recommend this boot for work, hiking and everyday use.
