Rugged leather uppers are treated with Omni-Shield that makes these boots water- and stain-resistant. High-abrasion heel accents are added to provide extra grip when needed. The compression-molded EVA midsole guarantees flexibility and cushioning, while the nylon shank is precision-molded to supply support that is both firm and flexible. The lacing design consists of a combination of metal lace hooks and D-rings to keep the foot secure. A rugged outsole made of non-marking Omni-Grip rubber produces traction and stability on any surface. About Columbia

Great boots!

I ordered the boots, and they arrived quickly. I have worn them a few times now, and they seem very durable and are comfortable. I bought these because my uncle had some and he was very favorable of them. I would definitely buy these again.

The boot has exceptionally good traction on wet surfaces. While walking on wet boardwalks in Yellowstone, other people wearing various brands of hiking boots were slipping while my boots felt like they were sticking to the boards. I found them also to have excellent traction on wet rocks.

Just bought these boots because I was in a hurry and I needed them for a backpacking trip for a snowy mountain. I bought them based on reviews and they turned out to be totally great. I broke these boots in very fast and they turned out very comfy. I got them a Half a size bigger to help out with the layers of socks i put on due to the cold days so my foot isn't tight in the shoe. Boots are very light and they withstand a good rain. Very good boot overall i would recommend it.

I purchased these boots for my husband for the N.Y. winter. It keeps his feet warm and are very comfortable. The boot does look a bit cheap I guess because of the synthetic overlay but he is happy with them.

Built solid, waterproof and provide good grip on the rock. But they are so narrow, plus it gets so hot in them and feet do not breath so they get wet. Getting blisters on toes even on small hikes. Not a best ankle support even without load. They are ok for the price i paid. But then needed to buy different boots for a bigger hikes.
