Men's Asolo TPS 535 LTH V

i hike in -20 to 90 degree weather and my feet are always perfect and dry

This is my third pair of Asolos over many years. I used to suffer blisters in every brand that I tried (including my first Asolos, but they were Yukons and too stiff and heavy for my needs) but these boots are wonderful. It's hard to believe that a boot this strong and supportive is some comfortable. I never carry camp shoes when backpacking. I just loosen the laces a bit when around camp.

I walked around in them for about a week to break them in, and then I did a nice long hike with a full pack on, on 10-20 degree grades in the snow. Comfortable is an understatement.

I wear these boots 10-12 hours a day as a UPS driver. They are very comfortable and provide excellent support. What I like most is Asolo doesn't get caught up in all the fancy new designs each year. When I need a new pair, I know that exact pair is available to me. It used to be I would fall in love with a boot only to find out it was discontinued for some new design. Not Asolo, I have about 6 pairs over the last 8 years of the same exact boot.

I got these boots for a 30 day NOLS course last summer. At the end of the course, people with Asolo boots like mine had intact boots. Other brands of boots seemed to wear out after a month in the backcountry. Since then, I've worn them snowshoeing, and on all kinds of terrain. Great support and traction.
