Protective and cushioned enough for long, rugged trails yet nimble and quick on almost any surface, the Cascadia 10 is an easy pick for die hard trail runners. With 4-point Pivot Posts designed to balance like an SUV's independent suspension system and a Forefoot Ballistic Rock Shield, feet can fly of tough terrain without worrying about underfoot protection. An ultra-light, no-sew upper packs all day comfort and a BioMoGo DNA midsole adapts cushioning to not only your feet, but also the surfaces of adventure. Updated outsole geometry allows the foot to stay in place thanks to the stabilizing lug pattern. While a lot of people love it as a fastpacking and thru-hiking shoe while carrying ultralight gear; the Cascadia is not pack-rated and may not hold up to the extra weight and demands of long pack hikes. The Cascadia 10 is a go-to option for trail runs, but a sturdy hiking boot may be better suited for heavy packs.
